Speaking With Sara

Over the course of her career, Sara Brady has acquired experience and expertise in a variety of public relations disciplines, initiatives and controversies and as a result is often invited to speak and share some of her insights. Brady speaks on a range of subjects related to communications, public relations, reputation and crisis issues, and how they impact individuals and businesses. And as a business owner, she is often invited to speak about juggling work/life balance.

Sara Brady began her career at the Orlando Sentinel where she covered the police and court beats. Following her 17 years in print journalism, Brady worked in the defense industry as well as for an independent PR firm. She also served as Vice President, Public Affairs and Community Relations for Bright House Networks of Central Florida.

In 2010, Brady launched Sara Brady Public Relations, Inc. Since then, her firm has earned a reputation for leading communication strategies in numerous high-profile controversies. Brady specializes in reputation and crisis management. In 2012, she was named the PR Professional of the Year by the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA). She has also been named one of Orlando Magazine’s 50 Most Powerful People, for four consecutive years. In 2014, Brady was recognized as Woman Business Owner of the Year under the Orlando Business Journal’s annual Women Who Mean Business Awards Program.

In 2016, Brady earned a unique distinction; she simultaneously managed communication for three crises that attracted global attention: the shooting death of singer Christina Grimmie at the Plaza Live theater, the Pulse Night Club tragedy, and the heartbreaking death of a child at Walt Disney World.
